Came across this small bit of news when I was browsing ‘The Hindu’. There are some very good programs scheduled at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on August 18th, 2007 from 6 PM onwards. A tabla solo program by Aditya Kalyanpur and a Sitar-Sarod duet by Prabir Bhattacharya and Subhabrata Chatterjee.
Managing trustee Ravindra Yavagal says the three young artistes have blossomed directly under the traditional guru-shishya parampara of the world famous sitar-tabla duo of Pandit Ravishankar and Ustad Allarakha.
Free up your calendar on Saturday, the 18th of August to watch these amazing concerts.
